Kerala Travel Mart 2016 will be held in Kochi from 28th September to 30th
Monday, 19th Sept, Kochi, (Travel News India), The mammoth gathering of tourism stake holders in the Kerala will onset on 28th September at hotel Le Meridien in Kochi as 9th edition of Kerala Travel Mart (KTM). Mr. Pinarayi Vijyan, The chief minister of Kerala will inaugurate the event on World Tourism Day, 27th September.
The president of Kerala Travel Mart Society, Mr. Abraham George focused on nine point plans for action calls for channel to undertake proficient use of energy including optimum use of local products, solid waste management, promotion of organic farming, proper rain water harvesting, recuperating greenery, reducing the use of harmful materials like plastics etc, he added. He hoped that KTM 2016 will be mega event for destinations under Kerala Tourism and host community must focus on responsible tourism within state to accelerate the tourism productivity.
There are 10 new countries going to participate in this trade event like China, South Korea, Japan, Mexico, Georgia, Chili, Greece, Saudi Arabia, Botswana and Iran other than 47 other countries.
Apart from it, there are large number of domestic buyers from 20 states of india are also going to be a part of this mega travel trade fair.
560 international delegates have been already registered and more than 1300 domestic buyers can be participating in Kerala Travel Mart 2016.
The key focus areas of 9th edition of the Kerala Travel Mart 2016 will be on responsible tourism, spice route & Muziris.
The grand event will be completely open to the general public on last day on 30th Sept from 10 A.M to 6 P.M.
