‘Koyana’ introduced as new destination by MTDC

At an event in press club of Mumbai, “koyana” presented as new destination near Mahabaleshwar to explore together by MTDC and Government of Maharashtra along with the announcement of the Koyana International Patang Utsav on Jan 17. The GM of MTDC, Swati Kale and business head of Presidency Hospitality Ltd, Dhananjay Kashyap were present and took the initiative to promote tourism in this area.

“2017 is being commended as ‘Visit Maharashtra’ year as declared by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. We will arrange more exercises and celebrations in 2017 to promote tourism in Maharashtra and supporting Koyana, an unexplored new destination is a piece of this expansion. We will be keeping on exploring numerous new unexplored destinations as a major aspect of ‘Visit Maharashtra,” said Kale.

Mr. Dhananjay Kashyap stated that earlier we had come up with the Koyana Darshan Mahotsav last year on Nov 13 to promote the tourism activities in Koyna and received a huge number of local participation in the celebration. He included that Koyana is a green, spotless and delightful place in the lap of nature.

The principal version of International Patang Utsav at Koyana will be hung on 29th of January in Mahabaleshwar. The kites utilized amid this celebration are eco-friendly, gigantic, and will be taken care of just by the specialists. These types of kites won’t be harmful to anybody, Kashyap added.

The second version of Koyana Darshan Mahamahotsav will be a three-day social and melodic spectacle and will likewise incorporate presentations and courses on promoting eco-tourism in the state.
