This beautiful temple is located within the dhoongri forest and therefore, also called as the dhoongri temple. The temple has a very attractive structure with four layers of roof going up from wider to narrower shape. Hadimba temple is supposed to be built in Mahabharata period and dedicated to Goddess Hadimba (wife of Bhima), one of the brothers among five Pandavas.
A beautiful shrine of the son of Bhima and Hadimba named “Ghatotkacha” is also located very close to Hadimba Devi temple. Vashisht Temple & Hot Water Springs
Vashisht temple and hot springs both are located in Vashisht village on the bank of river Beas. The distance of village is about 3km from Manali main town. This village is quite popular among travelers and tourists for its natural sizzling sulphur springs and holy temples including an important one that is devoted to “Rishi Vashisht”.

Solang Valley is one of the most popular and the common tourist spot in Manali, located 13 km away from the main town. Travelers can also trek to famous Anjani Mahadev temple dedicated to Lord Shiva from Solang Valley. It hardly takes 2-3 hours to go and return back.
Beas Kund is next major attraction under the list of places to visit in Manali. Beas kund is approx 23 km far away towards Rohtang Pass from the main town of Manali. It is a holy place for Hindu and origin of Beas river. As per Hindu Mythology, sage Vyas used to take everyday bath at this place.
This place is only accessed by trekking but if tourists arrive here once, their tiredness disappears because this place is full of natural charm. Tourists can also explore nearby beautiful mountain peaks like Ladakhi, Hanuman-Tibba, and Shitidhar through a trek of around 4 to 5 hours.
Nehru Kund is another attraction in Manali. It is just 5 km from the city located between Manali-Leh National Highway. Its name was named after Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru, First PM of independent India. He frequently used to drink sweet water of this kund during his stay in Manali.
Tourists can spend some quality time in a serene environment at this place. They can drink the cold water of this natural spring that is naturally best for the test. The source of water is supposed to come here from a lake which is located in Kullu at an altitude of approx 14000 ft above sea level.
Manu Rishi Temple
This beautiful temple is dedicated to sage Manu who is supposed to be the creator of human race on earth. Manu temple is very popular place among tourists, located in the area of old Manali on the bank of holy river Beas. Manu temple is just 3 km away from Mall road of Manali.
This ancient temple has great historical & religious value. The pillars and walls are full of various scriptures that are complicated to understand. Last but not the least under most famous places to visit in Manali is Rohtang Pass. The pass is only accessible from June to October however, sometimes it also opens before June if the lack of snow found there but it depends on the flow of snow at high altitude. The drive to Rohtang Pass in itself is a thrilling experience because of various narrow curves. Travelers can take an en-route photography halt at gigantic and splendid ‘Rahala’ waterfall.
The month of May/June is most crowded for Rohtang. It becomes a hub of adventure seekers in May.
