Wayanad Tourism Has Got New Branding at Kerala Travel Mart 2016 in Kochi
The prior slogan of Wayanad tourism ‘Great Adventure’ has been replaced with the new one ‘Wayanad Way Beyond’ at the recently concluded travel mart organized by Kerala Tourism to mirror the wide cluster of chances accessible in the Eco-adventure section in the tiniest area located in the state of Kerala.
New pamphlets, logo, tagline, written literature about the region were uncovered by M Vijayakumar, Chairman, Kerala Tourism Development Corporation (KTDC) along with of Dr Venu V., Principal Secretary, Tourism, Kerala Govt, Suman Billa, IAS, Joint Secretary, MOT, Government of India and U.V. Jose, Director in Kerala Tourism. Apart from it, a four minute short video also shown containing different information related to Wayanad tourism at KTM 2016 Kochi. The effort was made together with Wayanad District Tourism Promotion Council (DPTC) and Wayanad Tourism Organisation (WTO).
Mr. Jose said that the initiative of re-branding done by Wayanad District Tourism Promotion Council (DPTC) and Wayanad Tourism Organisation (WTO), a dynamic assortment of private industry in the area. “The region has extensive variety of properties as tourism products. Indeed, even Wayanad is a pushed region for Kerala Tourism to enlarge its objective base of clients.
We have been showcasing exceptionally submissive side of Kerala by concentrating on backwaters, wellness, ayurveda and so on. By moving to this mode of eco-adventure mode we will have the capacity to showcase our dynamic side which will engage more youth travellers from all over the globe,” he added in his statement.
